Message	I am just about ready to begin removal of the EGR system in my car. At the last minute I've been getting cold feet. I've been told passing is no problem. Today someone told me I will need to retard the spark (doing this would seem to me would increase HC levels in exhaust gases) before taking the car in. I would appreciate any input from residents of this area that have taken their car to get emissions tested w/o a working EGR system.
